Laura Baxter began her digital media career driven by the belief that successful online experiences are produced as a result of combining both logic and creativity. Over 14 years later, she is still driven by this same belief. Not willing to compromise one for sake of the other, Laura continues to develop new ways to engage and communicate with online audiences by challenging the status quo.
A digital media veteran, Laura has held senior positions with both corporate organizations and service agencies. Building her extensive digital media expertise in strategic planning, user experience design, creative direction, production management, and team leadership.
Throughout her career Laura has transformed ideas and opportunities into winning solutions for a host of top-notch brands including; Globaltv, MuchMusic, Astral Radio, YMCA Canada, Lavalife, Toyota, Scotiabank, The College of Family Physicians Canada, Toronto Public Library and World Wildlife Fund.
In 2009, ready to funnel her experience and passion into an independent venture, Laura founded MitreBox Media a digital consulting firm focused on user experience design that would eventually become MitreBox User Experience Design.
At MitreBox, Laura helps clients capture business requirements and translate those requirements into demonstrable results. From opportunity to execution, Laura is passionate about continuing to explore the endless possibilities for interactive content and eager to develop digital media solutions that engage, educate and enable users.
