Having grown, expanded, and evolved their product and services offerings, Interac required a full site redesign to help communicate their value and benefits to customers and merchants across Canada.
Interac is a well recognized and trusted brand in the commerce and transactional space. As their brand, services, and products grew, so did their existing website. What was once a clear and concise representation of the Interac brand had became over stuffed, outdated, and extremely hard for customers and merchants to navigate. With this reality, Interac identified a critical need to re-envision their online offering based on a modernized user centric design, navigation, and content architecture.
MitreBox was engaged by Interac’s digital agency of record to collaborate on a solution that offered both an optimized experience for site visitors, but was also flexible enough for the marketing team to manage rich content and expand the site over time.
The launch of the new responsive and optimized Interac.ca website was met with a significant uptick in key metics. Overall, traffic organically jumped 25% without the assistance of additional marketing or traffic drivers. At the same time, mobile traffic spiked and bounce rates were reduced by 6%. Customers and merchants alike were now able to easily and effectively navigate a robust site that accurately communicated all aspects of the Interac brand and offerings.
